The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the admit cards for the upcoming Clerk Prelims 2026 examination. Candidates preparing for the recruitment process for the position of Customer Service Associate can now access their call letters through the official IBPS website at ibps.in. To download the document, applicants are required to log in using their registration number and password.
The preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on October 10 and October 11, 2026. As the testing process is conducted in multiple shifts, it is essential for all candidates to verify their specific exam centre, reporting time, and assigned shift details as indicated on their individual admit cards. These documents serve as the primary entry requirement for the examination venue.
The IBPS Clerk Prelims 2026 will be conducted across four distinct shifts each day. While specific reporting times are unique to each candidate's admit card, the examination structure typically follows a pattern of four daily sessions. These generally include a morning shift starting around 8:00 AM, a late morning shift at 10:30 AM, an afternoon session at 12:30 PM, and an evening shift beginning at 3:00 PM. Candidates are strongly advised to rely exclusively on the timing printed on their own admit card rather than general estimates.
Following the conclusion of the preliminary round, the recruitment process will continue with subsequent stages. Current projections indicate that the results for the preliminary examination are expected to be announced in November 2026. Successful candidates will then proceed to the next phase of the selection process. The Mains examination is currently scheduled to take place on December 27, 2026, with the corresponding admit cards anticipated to be released in December 2026.
All applicants are encouraged to review the instructions provided on their admit cards thoroughly before arriving at the test centre. It is important to monitor the official IBPS website regularly for any further announcements or updates regarding the examination process, including result declarations and future scheduling. Maintaining access to the official portal ensures that candidates remain informed about any changes or critical notices issued by the examining body.
