The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially opened the registration window for the SSLC Exam 1 scheduled for 2027. Educational institutions across the state are now required to begin the process of uploading the details of eligible students who intend to appear for the upcoming March-April board examinations.

Principals of all recognized government, aided, and unaided private schools have been instructed to access the official KSEAB website at kseab.karnataka.gov.in to complete the registration. The board has set a firm deadline of November 11, 2026, for the online submission of these student records. In addition to regular school candidates, the registration portal is also open for private fresh candidates and repeaters to complete their enrollment requirements.

Examination Schedule and Submission Guidelines

Alongside the registration announcement, the KSEAB has released a tentative timetable for both the SSLC and 2nd PUC examinations for 2027. According to the current schedule, the Karnataka SSLC Exam 1 is slated to take place between March 22 and April 5, 2027. For those who may need to appear for a second attempt, the board has scheduled the SSLC Exam 2 from May 24 to May 31, 2027.

The board has also provided a window for stakeholders to review and submit objections regarding the proposed exam dates. Any feedback or concerns regarding the tentative schedules for either the SSLC or 2nd PUC exams must be submitted via email to dpikseab@gmail.com or directorpuekseab@gmail.com by October 22, 2026. The KSEAB intends to review these submissions before finalizing the official examination calendar.

To ensure a smooth registration process, the board has advised school authorities to verify all student information thoroughly before final submission. By adhering to the November 11 deadline, schools can avoid potential technical complications and ensure that all eligible candidates are successfully registered for the 2027 academic cycle.
