The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has officially commenced the registration process for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2027. Prospective students aiming for admission into BTech programs at participating institutions are encouraged to review the application requirements and eligibility standards before initiating their online submission.
All applications must be completed and submitted through the official university portal at manipal.edu. Candidates should note that the deadline for Phase 1 registration is March 15, 2027. It is important to adhere to this timeline, as the university has not announced any provisions for late submissions or extensions beyond this date.
Before beginning the registration process, applicants must ensure they meet the specific academic and personal criteria set by MAHE. The university requires candidates to be of Indian nationality, though specific provisions and seat reservations are available for NRI, OCI, PIO, and foreign national candidates. Notably, there is no age limit for applicants appearing for the examination.
Regarding academic qualifications, candidates must have either passed or be currently appearing for their 12th-grade examinations or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. The curriculum must include Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, alongside an optional subject such as Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a technical vocational subject. To qualify, students are required to have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and the chosen optional subject.
In addition to the MET, the university has confirmed that JEE Main scores will be accepted for 20% of the approved seats, providing an alternative pathway for admission. Applicants are advised to keep all necessary personal and academic documentation ready before starting the online form to ensure the accuracy of the information provided. Certain documents, including recent photographs and signatures, must be uploaded in accordance with the university's official formatting guidelines.
While the registration process is currently underway, MAHE has not yet disclosed the specific dates for the Phase 1 and Phase 2 examinations. Furthermore, the university is expected to release the official syllabus, examination pattern, and mock test materials by January. Candidates are encouraged to monitor the official website regularly for these updates, as they are essential for effective exam preparation. Failure to complete the registration process by the March 15 deadline will render a candidate ineligible for the entrance test and the subsequent admission cycle.
