MHT CET 2026 Pharmacy Provisional Merit List Released: How to Check and Submit Grievances

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has officially released the provisional merit list for pharmacy admissions under the MHT CET 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates who have successfully completed their registration and document verification process can now access their provisional merit status through the official CAP portal at ph2026.mahacet.org.

This provisional list serves as a critical step in the admission cycle, allowing students to review their assigned merit rank, application details, category, and percentile scores. It is essential for all applicants to cross-verify the information displayed against their original documents to ensure accuracy before the final merit list is prepared for seat allotment.

Grievance Submission and Final Merit List Schedule

The CET Cell has provided a specific window for candidates to address any discrepancies found in the provisional merit list. If a student identifies an error in their personal details, category, or marks, they are required to submit a formal grievance through the online portal. This facility will remain active from August 28 to August 31, 2026.

Following the conclusion of this grievance period, the authorities will review all submitted requests and verify the claims. Once the verification process is complete, the State CET Cell will publish the final merit list on September 3, 2026. This final document will be the definitive record used for the subsequent stages of the Centralised Admission Process, including the allocation of seats for Round 1.

Next Steps in the Admission Process

Once the final merit list is released on September 3, the admission process will transition into the option entry phase. During this stage, candidates will be required to log in to the portal to fill and lock their preferred choices of colleges and branches. The seat allotment for CAP Round 1 will then be determined by the CET Cell, based on a combination of the candidate's final merit rank, their submitted preferences, and the overall availability of seats across participating institutions.
