Maharashtra State CET Cell Releases MAH BEd CET 2026 Counselling Schedule

The Maharashtra State CET Cell has officially released the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) schedule for B.Ed programmes for the 2026 academic session. This comprehensive timeline outlines the critical stages of the admission process, including seat allocation, document verification, and reporting deadlines for candidates across three rounds and the final institutional level.

Prospective students who have qualified for the MAH BEd CET are advised to familiarise themselves with these dates to ensure a smooth transition into their chosen institutions. The schedule covers the entire admission cycle, starting from the initial seat allocation through to the final institutional level admissions, which conclude in late October.

Key Dates for MAH BEd CET 2026 Counselling

The first round of seat allocation is scheduled for September 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Candidates successfully allocated a seat during this phase are required to report to their respective colleges between September 7 and September 10, 2026. For those who have not yet registered, the window for registration for Round III and the Institutional Level Round remains open from August 29 through September 26, 2026.

Following the first round, the process for Round II will commence with the display of vacant seats on September 11, 2026. The allocation results for this round are set to be published on September 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Candidates who receive an allocation in this round must complete their reporting and admission formalities between September 19 and September 22, 2026, with colleges required to update the portal with admitted student details by September 23, 2026.

Round III and Institutional Level Admissions

The third round begins with the display of vacant seats on September 23, 2026. Candidates will have the opportunity to edit their CAP application forms from September 24 to September 26, 2026, followed by an e-scrutiny period for documents that runs until September 29, 2026. The alphabetical merit list is scheduled for display on September 30, 2026, with a grievance window open from October 1 to October 3, 2026. The final merit list for Round III will be published on October 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM, with seat allocation following on October 9, 2026. Reporting for this round is slated for October 10 to October 13, 2026.

The final phase, the Institute Level Round for ACAP seats, will begin with the display of vacancies on October 14, 2026. Candidates can submit their college preferences online between October 15 and October 17, 2026. Colleges will then generate their merit lists for ACAP and Management Quota seats on October 19, 2026. The final window for admissions based on this merit list is October 21 to October 23, 2026, which also serves as the final admission deadline for the 2026 B.Ed intake.
