Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, has officially released a revised schedule for its college-level counselling process for MTech programmes. This round of admissions is specifically intended to fill vacant seats within the School of Energy & Environment Management at the University Teaching Department (UTD).
Prospective students who are interested in securing a seat in these postgraduate programmes must ensure they complete their registration through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh portal. The university has set September 14, 2026, as the final deadline for registration, and candidates are advised to adhere to this timeline to participate in the counselling process.
The university has outlined specific reporting dates for candidates to appear at the institution. These dates are scheduled for September 2, 5, 8, 10, 12, and 14, 2026. The current counselling drive is focused on two specific AICTE-approved postgraduate courses: MTech in Energy Technology and MTech in Energy & Environmental Engineering.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess a four-year bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Engineering or Technology. A minimum of 50% marks is required for general category candidates, while those belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC (non-creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh are eligible with a minimum of 45% marks. The qualifying degree must be awarded by an AICTE-approved institution, a recognised Indian university, an institute of national importance, or an eligible foreign university recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
The selection process prioritises GATE-qualified candidates, who will be evaluated based on merit. Regarding financial support and reservations, the university has confirmed that scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC candidates will be administered in accordance with state government norms. Furthermore, EWS reservation policies will be applied as per the regulations set forth by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Candidates are encouraged to monitor the official DTE portal and the university website for any further updates regarding the reporting process. All applicants must ensure their documentation is in order before appearing at the institution on the designated reporting dates.
